The Bryant Park website describes it as “a dynamic public space that attracts millions of visitors each year to enjoy cultural events, engage in leisure activities, and take advantage of the amenities offered.” it is right near the Business Improvement zone.
The park is open 365 days a year and is free to enjoy. It’s a great place to relax, people-watch, or take a break from sightseeing. In addition to the many things to do in Bryant Park itself, it’s also located close to many other popular tourist destinations, including Times Square, the Rockefeller Center, and Grand Central Terminal.
The park is routinely voted one of the most popular parks in the United States. In a survey of urban park users across the country, Bryant Park was ranked first in terms of quality and second only to Central Park in terms of popularity. The park has something for everyone, with plenty of space to relax, gardens, fountains, a skating rink in winter and around the holidays, and a variety of food options.
