The process is quite simple. You call us and give us an overview of what you are dealing with as far as your infestation, the size of your home or apartment or townhouse, and your availability on when it can be done. You can rent one man and one truck, two men and two trucks, or three men and three trucks depending on the size of the home or apartment that you are servicing. We can supply up to 430 KW with our four generators. We can also provide over 1 million BTUs of heat. Is that a lot? Yes! Probably way more than you will ever need.  We provide you with all preparation instructions and answer any questions you have on the process. We set a date and a time, we dispatch our truck and equipment, and we meet you on your job site. Our supervisor will help you unload the truck and set up the equipment properly, help run all the electrical lines and anything else that you need to get the job ready for treatment. He handles the generator and the heaters and also supervises the work being done. All you have to do is provide the labor and follow instructions. It’s that simple! Many people assume that they are going to be spending several hours inside at 140° temperatures. This is not the case. Based on heating requirements typically furniture fans and other things will be moved about every 30 minutes to make sure that the heating process is occurring evenly and thoroughly. You only spend about 5 to 10 minutes inside at this temperature. Do you sweat? Yes. Does it feel good to know that you’re getting rid of all those bloodsucking little insects? Yes! It feels really good plus saving all that money makes it feel even better.

With our method of bed bug heat treatment typically once you hit temperature it will require only three to four hours to completely eradicate any infestation. The the heat treatment equipment rental period is for 8 hours. This will be enough time to get the truck unloaded, get the equipment set up, bring the unit to temperature and cook it for the required time to kill every bedbug and every egg in your place.  It will even give you enough time to get the truck loaded backup and ready to send away. That’s it you are done and so are all the bed bugs.

The price to rent a basic package  which includes the Supervisor, a truck, a generator,  electrical line, heat equipment, fans, and heat monitoring equipment varies for based on time and amount of equipment needed. Additional time is charged over an 8 hour period where we are ON SITE. The only additional charges would be for fuel usage for the generator alone and any tolls that we have to pay there and back getting to you. Typical usage of a generator running at 75% capacity is about 2.5 gallons per hour so in addition you’d be paying about $75 for diesel fuel (depending on  Fuel Station cost). So it would be the basic rental investment -that – plus sweat equity.
